Have fun, Make Friends, Make a Difference. Volunteer with NPN!

Neighborhood Parents Network needs you! Most of our events would not be possible without our amazing volunteers, who give of their time and talents in so many ways. NPN volunteers have fun, make friends, and make a difference. You can too! Here are some ways for you to volunteer with NPN this year.
Done in a Day – Responsibilities may include mixing & mingling with guests, helping with check-in, helping setup and clean up, etc. If you can only stay for part of the volunteer shift, that is ok.
6/11 – 3-2-1 Magic w/Dr. Thomas Phelan, PhD, Immaculate Conception-St. Joseph School, 1431 N. Park Ave., 6:00pm – 9:00pm
9/21 – South Side School Fair, Hyde Park Neighborhood Club, 8:00am – 11:30am or 11:00am – 2:30pm.
Silent Auction Committee member - Responsibilities include visiting businesses to solicit donations, committee meetings
Wake Up & Boogie Down Family Fest committee member - Responsibilities include helping at the event, attending monthly committee meetings, reaching out to businesses
New Moms Group Host - Responsibilities include welcoming a group of moms into your home once a week for three consecutive weeks and help to facilitate introductions, conversation, and support.
Neighborhood & Special Interest Group Volunteers - Responsibilities include coordinating at least one event per month to help members and non-members meet, help each other, and get to know NPN. Volunteers needed for the following groups:
- Asian Moms
- Logan Square – new group!!
- North Center/Lincoln Square
- Same Sex Parents
- Working Moms
