CANCELLED: Learning and School Success 101 @ St. Stanislaus Kostka School · Aug 30, 2017

Parent University

PLEASE NOTE: This event has been cancelled. Please check the NPN calendar for a rescheduled date in the future.

Wondering if your child’s learning is on track?  Join NPN & Learning Decoded for a Learning & School Success 101 workshop!

Does your child seem frustrated with schoolwork? Is he reading at grade level? Does she understand her math homework? Are you not getting much feedback from the teacher? Are you looking for ways to help your child with homework, study habits or keeping track of papers and assignments?

Join us for an interactive seminar on learning and school success. Parents will learn proven strategies to reduce school-related frustration and anxiety and add more confidence and success to their child’s life. This seminar will focus on tools parents can use to help their child, stay informed on progress and advocate for more support at school if necessary.

Our guest speaker, Heather Bragg of Learning Decoded, will share information on:

* How to tell if your child is struggling

* How to know what is “normal” for learning

* The expectations for and skills taught in each grade level

* Ways to make homework time stress-free

* What to do if you suspect a problem

* How to teach good study habits early

Please RSVP, space is limited. Open to NPN members (FREE; please log into your NPN account) and non-members ($10 per adult). While this event is for adults-only, lap babies are welcome.
