Category: All About NPN
NPN is really dedicated to connecting you with the resources you need to navigate parenting in the city. For more than 34 years we've been creating groups to give local parents the social support they need. In order to showcase some our amazing volunteers that lead these groups (from nearly 30 neighborhood and special interest groups), we thought we'd give you the opportunity to get to know some of them. Meet the chair of our Same Sex Parent Group, Carolyn.
Start the summer off right! NPN’s discussion forums are chock-full of posts on topics - from pampers to preschool. Summer is heating up and so are the forums.
One of our members started a great discussion on sunscreen/bug sprays that are best for the kiddos. How do you lather up your little one? Check out the discussion here.
Another started a super thread on the best parks with and without splashpads, check out the discussion here.

Adding an extra ten minutes to get ready each morning to stuff noodley arms in coat sleeves, tug on the snow pants, and finagle little fingers into mittens and gloves. These are our mainstays of winter.
But in Chicago, there are tens of thousands of children who do not have a proper winter coat. They spend our brutal winters wearing layered hoodi...Posted on December 16, 2013 at 8:00 AM
