Like all parents I know, I am constantly on the hunt for fresh ideas for FREE fun for the kiddos.  Here are seven great ideas for filling your week with free fun!

Explore Chicago with your Wee Ones!

We had a great time at the NPN Wake Up & Boogie Down Family Festival!  We loved meeting so many Chicago families, and watching everyone bust-a-move!

Time to stuff those stockings!

Its funny how you just assume that everyone celebrates Christmas the way your family celebrated Christmas.  Then as you start to share a home with your spouse, and you quickly learn that your spouse’s family did not quite do it the same way mom did!  The first Christmas my hubby and I spent together I was shocked (…and a bit disappointed) to find toothpaste, Chapstick and socks in my stocking.  Where were the chocolate/almond Hershey Kisses, perfume and costume jewelry my mom always put in...

Being a Parent = Being a Master at Multitasking

Like most parents I know, I try to jam as many things into a day (and, lets face it, night) as humanly possible.  There never seems to be enough time in a day to get all of my work and chores done, while still making time for fun! 

That is why I LOVE it when I can get something I need done, while still having fun with the kiddos.  Play time for the kiddos…check.  Weekly trip to the grocery store…check. Hooray, everyone is happy.
